SUZHOU, June 27 (Xinhua) -- The Suzhou branch of China''s retail giant Suning Commerce Group has partnered with the Jiangsu provincial government to introduce a smart ticket-purchasing service for sports events.
The online ticket-purchase system was launched on Monday and allows fans to purchase tickets for upcoming football matches featuring top-tier Chinese Super League clubs Jiangsu Suning FC, Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou Evergrande.
The ticket-purchase system is part of the Suzhou branch''s wider digitalization efforts aimed at enhancing customer experience and promoting cultural development in Jiangsu Province.
"The smart ticket-purchasing service will offer fans a more convenient way to purchase tickets for sports events, while also providing valuable data insights for sponsors and event organizers," said Li Xinyang, CEO of the Suzhou branch of Suning Commerce Group.
The partnership with Jiangsu Province marks another major milestone in Suning''s push into the digital economy. In April this year, Suning signed a strategic agreement with China''s Ministry of Culture and Tourism to collaborate on various cultural and tourism-related initiatives.
As part of its broader commitment to cultural development, Suning has also established partnerships with prominent Chinese museums and art galleries, such as the National Art Museum of China and the Shanghai Power Station of Art.
